God Turned It Around: Late-Night Homeless Outreach August 30, 2026

On the night of August 30, St. Joseph Collaborative returned to the streets of San Bernardino for another homeless outreach. This time, we went out later than usual—but God’s timing was perfect.

As we traveled through the city, it felt like the Holy Spirit was flowing with us. The atmosphere began to change. People’s spirits were lifted, prayers rose toward heaven, and hope entered places where discouragement had tried to take over.

We distributed more than 100 meals to our brothers and sisters living on the streets. But once again, God reminded us that this mission is about much more than handing someone a meal. It is about stopping, listening, praying, loving, and reminding every person that they have dignity.

We were also blessed to pray with our sister Alicia and share some blessed oils with her. Moments like this remind us why we continue going out. Sometimes people do not only need food—they need someone to believe with them that their story is not finished.

God can turn it around!

He can turn pain into purpose. He can turn addiction into freedom. He can turn hopelessness into faith. He can take someone who feels forgotten and remind them that they are still His beloved child.

We may have gone out late at night, but the light of Christ was shining brightly. Every meal, prayer, conversation, and act of kindness carried the same message:

You are seen. You are loved. You have not been forgotten.

Thank you to everyone who prepared meals, donated supplies, served, prayed, and supported this mission. Together, we are becoming the hands and feet of Jesus Christ on the streets.
